The Masterpieces of Medieval Architecture

Šibenik, a gem in the Croatian side of Adriatic sea, is situated along the mouth of Krka river, on the most picturesque part of the eastern Adriatic coast. It was first mentioned in 1066 during the reign of the Croatian King Kresimir IV. and it is considered the oldest Croatian autochtonous town on the Adriatic Coast.

Near the town there are two national parks - Krka Waterfalls and Kornati islands, whose fascinating landscapes take visitors breath away.

One of Šibenik most significant landmarks is The Cathedral of St James, UNESCO World Heritage Site and the only cathedral in Europe built entirely from stone.
